Sarah Neidhardt is the author of the memoir Twenty Acres: A Seventies Childhood in the Woods. She was most recently an Artist in Residency at the Atticus Hotel in McMinnville, Oregon, and a finalist for the seventh annual Sewanee Review nonfiction contest. She grew up in Arkansas and California and is a graduate of Oberlin College. She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and teenage son where she is at work on a second book, once again deep in archives and family letters.
